HP Inc. has reported its first sales increase since 2022, largely due to a revival in the PC market. In the fiscal first quarter of 2024, the Personal Systems segment, which represents 67% of the company’s net revenues, saw a 24% year-over-year revenue growth and a 28% rise in total PC units sold. Consumer Personal Systems shipments surged by 33%, while Commercial PS units increased by 24%. Though the Printing segment improved modestly, Supplies revenues continued to decline. Overall, HP’s net revenues reached $13.8 billion, slightly missing expectations, but non-GAAP earnings per share of 75 cents exceeded estimates, reflecting ongoing optimism for the future.
