Spain’s Stock Market Rises at Close; IBEX 35 Increases by 0.05%

Spanish stocks ended higher on Wednesday, with the IBEX 35 index up 0.05%. Key gains were seen in sectors such as Building & Construction, Chemicals, and Financial Services. Notable performers included Rovi, which rose by 1.86% to close at 37.28, and Laboratorios Farmacéuticos Rovi, up 1.30% at 77.80. Logista increased by 1.26% to finish at 27.38. In contrast, Repsol saw a 1.50% decline, while SOLAR ENERIA and Industria Disenoil also fell. Overall, 99 stocks declined against 94 advancers on the Madrid Stock Exchange. In commodities, gold and oil prices dropped, and the US Dollar Index rose by 0.51%.
