Turkey’s BIST 100 Index Rises 0.09% at Market Close

On Wednesday, Turkey’s stock market saw a modest gain, with the BIST 100 index rising by 0.09%. Growth was primarily supported by the Transport, Non-Metal Mineral Products, and Technology sectors, highlighted by notable increases from KA Inat ve Yayincilik AS, up 3.90%, and Coca-Cola İçecek AS, which rose by 3.31%. However, the market faced pressure from declining stocks, with 286 shares falling compared to 266 that gained. In commodity markets, gold futures fell by 0.42%, and crude oil prices dropped slightly. Currency markets showed a stable USD/TRY and a decline in EUR/TRY, reflecting mixed trends overall in Turkey’s financial landscape.
